THE MEGA CD was tested on the following computers:

--------------------------------------------------------
NONAME 80486 DX4 33/66 * 2X CD /W PLAY/NEXT

I was only able to test MCD under Win95 on this
computer since I had no CD drivers for DOS so I
couldn't install MSCDEX. Under Windows 95 every
basic function worked. The volume could only be
set to ON or OFF. All multitiasking tests worked
fine. Windows 95 doesn't support track copy, at
least not the way I am doing it in MCD.
--------------------------------------------------------
NONAME 80486 DX2 33/50 * 2X CD /W MANUAL TRAY

This computer didn't have any DOS drivers either
but everything (including multitasking) worked
out OK except when I tried to copy a CD audio
track. The CD read the track but the driver only
returned silence. Volume control type is ON/OFF.
--------------------------------------------------------
IBM 80486 PS2 25/33 * 2X CD /W PLAY/NEXT

I had a few problems with the basic functions on
this computer. Sometimes when I pressed pause the
CD continued playing for a while before it stopped
causing the player to display PAUSE -> PLAY -> STOP
This could be fixed in MCD but since this is such
an old computer and none of the newer ones had similar
problems I won't bother with it. (YES! I am lazy!)
The volume control has full scale volume but the
CD does not support track copy.
--------------------------------------------------------
NONAME 80486 DX4 50/80 * 4X CD /W PLAY/NEXT

I had nothing but problems with running MCD on this
computer. In Windows 95 the screen won't update if
you run the player in full screen but when you run
it in a window everything (including multitasking)
works fine. When I ran MCD in DOS mode the computer
locked up after updating the screen. I have made
corrections to MCD which should make it work on
this computer, but I haven't been able to test it.
If you encounter similar problems, please mail me!
--------------------------------------------------------
NONAME PENTIUM 133 * CREATIVE 8X CD
NONAME PENTIUM 166 * CREATIVE 1X CD

Everything works perfectly on theese computers, the
volume controls has full scale audio and all multi-
tasking tests worked out perfectly. Win95 doesn't
support track copy but in DOS mode it works just
fine. I believe that it works in Win95 too if you
get the original CD drivers from Creative. There
seems to be one small problem with the P166 though.
When MCD has copied about 2:30 minutes of one track
I get a Device I/O error while trying to write the
data to the harddrive. I think this is a problem
with the harddrive since it is very old, but if
you encounter similar problems, please contact me.
